What is Salon du Chocolat NY?
Salon du Chocolat, the world’s largest chocolate event series created to indulge chocolate- and cocoa-lovers everywhere, is making its way to one of the globe’s culinary capitals, New York City. Since its creation in 1994, Salon du Chocolat has held 237 events in 17 countries, delighting over 1 million visitors across 15 events each year. Salon Du Chocolat NY in 2019 brought the wonder of chocolate and the world-renowned Salon du Chocolat brand to the U.S., right in the heart of bustling Manhattan. Salon du Chocolat's 2021 edition promises to be an even larger event with more experiences and an expanded venue.

Getting to the Show
Directions By Subway:
F Train to East Broadway
Take Rutgers St./Madison St. exit from station - Exit Walk east on Rutgers Street towards the water. Turn left on South Street heading north. Once you approach the Dept of Sanitation (on your right), Pier 36 is adjacent on the north side of Sanitation.
Directions By Car:
From FDR Drive - Southbound:
FDR Drive South to Exit 3, towards South St/Manhattan Bridge. Stay straight to go onto FDR Drive. FDR Drive becomes South Street. Pier 36 is located at the intersection of South Street and Montgomery Street
From FDR Drive - Northbound:
South Street north (under the FDR highway), past the South Street Seaport (do not go on the FDR Drive). Continue north on South Street (under the Manhattan Bridge, Pathmark on your left), until you see the Department of Sanitation on your right. At the next intersection (South Street and Montgomery Street), turn right at the light for Pier 36. (The entrance for the FDR north will be directly in front of you at the light).
From New Jersey Turnpike:
Proceed to Exit 14C (Holland Tunnel)
Go through the Holland Tunnel and Take EXIT 5 on the left toward Canal St East.
Turn slight right onto Laight St...Turn slight right onto Canal St... Turn right onto Bowery.
Bowery becomes Chatham Sq. Turn left onto E Broadway...Turn right onto Samuel Dickstein Plz... Turn slight left onto Montgomery St. Turn right onto South St. and end at Pier 36, located at the intersection of South Street and Montgomery Street
From the George Washington Bridge:
After leaving GW Bridge, take Harlem River Drive exit, Exit 2, towards FDR Drive
Proceed onto the Harlem River Drive which connects/merges into FDR Drive S.
Take FDR Drive South to Exit 3, towards South St/ Manhattan Bridge. At the light at the bottom of the ramp – turn left and proceed under the highway - Pier 36 is directly in front of you. Pier 36 is located at the intersection of South Street and Montgomery Street
From Lincoln Tunnel:
Proceed through tunnel. Stay straight to go onto Dyer Avenue. Turn Left at West 34th Street. Merge onto FDR South to Battery Park. Take Exit 3, towards South St/Manhattan Bridge. Stay straight to go onto FDR Drive. FDR Drive becomes South Street. Pier 36 is located at the intersection of South Street and Montgomery Street
From Queens & Long Island:
Take the L.I.E. to the Midtown Tunnel/Manhattan. After Midtown Tunnel, Turn left on East 34th Street. Merge onto FDR South to Battery Park. Take Exit 3, towards South St/Manhattan Bridge. Stay straight to go onto FDR Drive. FDR Drive becomes South Street. Pier 36 is located at the intersection of South Street and Montgomery Street

Are there age restrictions?
Salon du Chocolat NY is an event for the entire family. Age requirements may be in effect for certain onsite activities.
Who needs a ticket?
Children under 6 attend for free. Attendees ages 6 and over need an adult ticket to attend Salon du Chocolat NY. Please be prepared to show proof of age onsite. All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Age requirements may be in effect for certain onsite activities.
Is there a refund policy?
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased for Salon du Chocolat NY.
Do you offer a Military, Veteran or First Responder discount?
Yes, we offer free general admission for Military, Veteran, or First Responders! All Veterans, Active Duty, Guard and Reserve Military Personnel must present a valid form of military ID when picking up their ticket onsite at Registration. Police, EMS and Fire personnel must also present valid ID of occupation. Thank you for your service!
Do I need to bring cash?
We suggest bringing cash with you to shop the show. While some vendors may accept credit cards, others may not. There are a few ATMs located at the venue; however, to avoid an extra line at Salon du Chocolat NY we suggest you stop at an ATM before arriving at the show.
Can I bring my pet?
No. The only animals permitted in the venue are service animals. We love animals as much as you, but you are going to have to leave your pets at home.
Lost and Found
What do I do if I find/lose something?
Please bring all found items to the Security Office. If you’re looking for something that you lost, please check the Security Office.
Safety and Security
What are the security expectations at Salon du Chocolat NY?
The safety and security of our staff, exhibitors and attendees is our priority. We work closely with the venue, corporate security, state, local and federal law enforcement authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events. We have appropriate policies in place that cover safety, harassment, weapons, props, lost children, and everything in between.
What if I’m harassed?
Harassment of any kind, including stalking, deliberate intimidation, unwelcome physical attention, physical assault and battery, will not be tolerated at Salon du Chocolat NY. If it's illegal outside the venue, it's illegal inside the venue. Harassment is grounds for removal from the event without refund as well as potential legal action. We want Salon du Chocolat NY to be a safe, open and accepting environment for all adventurers, and if you find yourself victim of harassment at the event please come immediately to the Salon du Chocolat NY's Show Office.
Accessibility
Do you offer wheelchairs for disabled attendees?
A limited number of manually-operated wheelchairs are available at no fee. The venue has sidewalk ramps, automatic doors at all street levels, restrooms and elevators accessible for persons with mobility impairments.
Can I bring my service animal?
Service Animals (as defined by the ADA) are welcome at the venue. Owners take full responsibility for their animals. Be aware that Salon du Chocolat NY will feature chocolate products, which are harmful to many animals if consumed.
Do you make special accommodations for fans with specific physical or emotional needs?

Other Useful Information
Can I take pictures/video at the show?
For the most part, you're welcome to take still pictures and video at Salon du Chocolat NY; however, please note that all photography and recording is prohibited during some activities, which will be clearly indicated by signage. Also, please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs. Guests have a right to their privacy, and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.
Will I be on camera?
Salon du Chocolat NY will attract local, national and international press. In purchasing a ticket and in consideration for being admitted to the event, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases AZTQ Corporation from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits AZTQ Corporation and its designees which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors to use and authorize the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter know for all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the event. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any kind at designated activities without the express written permission of AZTQ Corporation. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the event.
Am I allowed to bring a stroller?
No. Strollers are not allowed at Salon Du Chocolat NY.
Allergen Information
AZTQ Corporation strives to create and maintain inclusive environments that are safe and fun for all attendees. Products exhibited, sold, and/or made available for sampling at Salon du Chocolat NY (“SDCNY”) may contain allergens, including but not limited to peanuts, wheat, dairy, soy, coconut, and tree nuts. If you have any sensitivities or allergies to these or any other foods, AZTQ strongly recommends that you consult with a licensed healthcare professional prior to purchasing tickets to and/or attending SDCNY as you may come into contact with such foods at SDCNY.
And Now a Word From Our Legal Team...
Tickets and/or tickets (“tickets”) for the event (“Event”) are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be reproduced, resold or upgraded. The unauthorized resale or attempted resale of the ticket is prohibited and will constitute a forfeiture of the ticket without compensation. Each ticket must be used by the same person (the “Attendee”) for each day of the Event. The Event’s operating hours, schedules, guests and speakers are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Each ticket is a revocable license to attend the Event. All panels, autographing, photo ops, special events, show features and performances are subject to availability and access is not guaranteed and/or may require an additional fee. AZTQ Corporation is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. There are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness to Attendees of the Event. Not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. By accepting this ticket (at time of purchase) and attending the Event, the Attendee freely and voluntarily agrees to assume the full risk of bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, or death that Attendee may sustain as a result of attending the Event, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of AZTQ Corporation.
