Signature Salon du Chocolat Fashion Show
Salon du Chocolat NY’s signature fashion show presents pageantry dripping with glamour, decadence, and otherworldly couture. This not-to-be-missed whimsical, futuristic, ‘grammable, and just-plain-over-the-top spectacle will make a fashionista (and choconista) out of everyone.
The fashion show will take place Saturday, November 16 at 4:00 PM. Can’t make it Saturday? The dresses will be on display throughout the end of the show on Sunday.
Extravagant Chocolate Sculptures
To pay homage to New York City’s robust art culture, our artist-in-residence, Paul Joachim, will transform chocolate into a large-scale installation right before your eyes! The theme for the masterpiece is veiled in a chocolate mystery. So join us throughout the show to witness the sculpture come to life, as chocolate and art come together in one perfect ‘grammable moment. The chocolate for this art piece will be donated by Endangered Species Chocolate, a company with more than 26 flavor varieties, a commitment to high quality ingredients, and a mission that promises a better future.
Valrhona Hot Chocolate Festival
Valrhona is putting on its extremely popular Hot Chocolate Festival in New York City for the fifth time and we couldn’t be more excited to host it at Salon du Chocolat NY! The Hot Chocolate Festival will take place on Saturday, November 16 from 1:30 – 3:00 PM next to the Special Events Stage.
The festival will feature samples of unique hot chocolate recipes created especially by the city's most celebrated pastry chefs including Ikuma Motoki (21 Club), Herve Poussot (Almondine), Chris Elbow (Christopher Elbow Chocolates), Rory Mcdonald (Coco Safar), Jayce Baudry (Epicerie Boulud), Christophe Toury (Estuary Brasserie & Bar), Miro Uskokovic (Gramercy Tavern), Robert Valencia (Great Performances), Eunji Lee (Jungsik), Elisa Harris (La Maison du Chocolat), Thea Habjanic (Little Spain Mercado), Dan Keehner (Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery), Paola Marocchi (Tao), Jana Kern-Mireles (The Lambs Club), and Guillaume Roesz (Valrhona). Walk away with the ultimate hot chocolate experience and take home a taste of Valrhona!
Space is limited to the first 150 attendees who purchase entry into the Hot Chocolate Festival. The $10 entry fee can be purchased at the Hot Chocolate Festival booth location starting at 12:00 PM on Saturday. A portion of the $10 fee will be donated to Food Recovery Network, a national nonprofit that unites students at colleges and universities to fight food waste and hunger by recovering perishable food that would otherwise go to waste from their campus dining halls and donating it to those in need.

Salon du Chocolat NY Junior is a wondrous adventure with chocolate. Chocolate lovers of all ages will play, learn, taste, and discover the coveted secrets of gourmet chocolate and pastry-making in educational workshops and hands-on activities. This entertaining, immersive experience will bring out the aspiring chef in everyone.
